KICKS

K.I.C.K.s (Kids in Christ’s Kingdom) is Trinity Lutheran Church’s Wednesday evening children’s program. each Wednesday in the Fall & Spring we invite children to come and join us for food, learning, games, & fellowship. We begin with a family style meal where children are seated at tables with other peers and an adult to facilitate the meal. We join with one another in prayer and thanksgiving for the meal and the day that we have embarked upon. After the meal is concluded, we have a short period of music including singing and playing bells. Afterwards, children are divided into different groups by learning level and ability. In these groups they will study scripture, prayer, & other Christian topics. Throughout the semester, children will learn about each topic through crafts, experiments, acting and more. Our goal at Trinity Lutheran through the KICKS program is to create a safe environment for kids from all walks of life to come together in a Christian atmosphere and make new friends that they can join with in other areas of our community.

We invite children from preschool to High School to join us each week!

Bible Studies

We currently have two Bible Study classes on Sundays at 9:15 A.M. One group meets in the Library and discusses the weekly lectionary readings. Another group meets in the Parlor and is a little less formal with the weekly topic based on a video presentation or on-line Bible study with open discussion following.
